Knowledge base

What you get

  • Automatic crawl of your website, pages converted into text the AI can read
  • Welcome message and suggested questions at the start of the conversation
  • Free-text or Markdown knowledge base: opening hours, terms, procedures, instructions
  • Specific directives: what Régis should say, not say, or who to refer to
  • Update on demand: run the crawl again when your website changes

In detail

  • Tables in your text become sentences, emails and phone numbers become links, addresses point to a map
  • Automatic generation of the title, logo and colours from your website ("auto-url")
  • Régis always answers in the language of the person writing to it
  • Unanswered questions can be reported to you so you can complete the base
  • Generated base up to 10,000 characters on Discovery, 30,000 on Essential and All-in; beyond that, the Expert Base indexes your whole website and your documents

Useful for

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to write the knowledge base myself?

No: Régis builds it from your website. You can then add details or instructions in a simple text field.

What happens when my website changes?

Run the crawl again from the interface: the base is rebuilt from the current content. Your manual additions are kept.

Does Régis make up answers?

Régis relies on your knowledge base and your directives. When it does not know, it says so and can refer to a contact or report the question.
